📜 Returns & Claims Policy

This policy applies to all orders placed through StyleDragon Studio. We are a dropshipping business, and all goods are dispatched on behalf of StyleDragon Studio by our fulfilment partner.

1. 📋 Inspection of Goods

Customers must inspect their goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. Any issues must be reported within the deadlines specified below to be considered for a claim.

2. 🚨 Damaged, Faulty, Missing or Incorrect Items

If any item arrives damaged, faulty, missing, or is incorrect, you must notify us :

  • Within 3 business days of delivery, or
  • Within 1 business day of becoming aware of the issue, whichever occurs first; and
  • In any event, no later than 7 calendar days from the delivery date.

Claims must include:

  • Order number
  • Item code
  • Quantity affected
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence, where requested 

⚠️ Important: Failure to report visible transit damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined .

3. 📦 Non-Delivery Claims

Orders are considered non-delivered if they have not arrived within 10 business days after the estimated delivery date.
Non-delivery claims must be submitted within 21 days of dispatch. After this period, the carrier may refuse to investigate, and the claim may not be accepted.

4. 🛠️ Manufacturing Faults

If a manufacturing fault becomes apparent after delivery, you must notify us:

  • Within 5 business days of discovering the issue, and
  • Within 6 months of delivery.

This does not apply to issues caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper storage, or unauthorised modification.

5. 📸 Evidence Requirements

Where photographic evidence is sufficient, the item may not need to be returned. Where a return is required, we will provide return instructions. Items returned without authorisation may not be accepted.

6. 🔧 Remedies

If a claim is accepted, we may, at our discretion:

  • Issue account credit
  • Provide replacement goods
  • Issue a refund to the original payment method 

Delivery charges are not refundable unless the entire order was incorrectly supplied or not delivered.

7. ❌ Items Ordered in Error (Change of Mind)

In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods and a further 14 days to return them.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. This does not apply to the products listed in Section 8 below.

To return an item ordered in error:

  1. Contact us within the statutory timeframes.
  2. The item must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
  3. Return shipping costs remain your responsibility.

8. 🚫 Items That Cannot Be Returned

For health and safety or hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty :

  • Earrings
  • Cosmetics
  • Personal care products
  • Sealed hygiene products that have been opened

9. 🤔 Discretion to Accept Returns

We reserve the right to accept returns for items ordered in error at our discretion, even beyond the statutory timeframes. However, this is not an automatic right. We may also, at our discretion, deduct a restocking fee from any refund offered.
